Jim Ellis Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Since 2000, we have hosted a charity golf tournament to raise funds
for various charities that our employees nominate and select. The
proceeds are awarded during the holiday season. Many of our employees
help with hosting the tournament and many more participate as players.
Most of our sponsorships come from our many generous business vendors,
associates and vehicle manufacturers.
The year 2008 was one of our most successful events. We had 240 golf participants and the tournament netted over $55,000 in funds to go to some very rewarding charities during the holiday season. This year our donations were made to the Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Health Care of Atlanta, Babies Can't Wait, Kare4Kids, Norcross Co-op, Our House, Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta, Calvary Children's Home, Parkwood Farms, Frank Ski Kids, Children's Restoration Network, Jesse's House, and Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. It is pleasing to see so many Jim Ellis employees help with this charity event that brings us together for food, fun and golf, and more importantly, to raise funds so we can reach out to those in need in our community at a special time of the year.
